Members of the choir meet before church to practice. New members are always welcome to join. Come and sing with the choir and refresh your spirit!

Green Sanctuary Committee News
The Green Sanctuary Committee has purchased a copy of Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" DVD for the church. Anyone who missed the screening in October, or anyone who would like to see it again, should please see Lisa S. to borrow the DVD.

Meditation Group
This group explores and practices different types of meditation with an emphasis on breathing techniques and meditating in silence. Anyone with any amount of experience is welcome. Please bring an exercise mat or folded blanket to sit on. Please contact Janet for more information.

Social Action

Noting that we are always role models for our children, the church is particularly interested in social action projects that include our children and teach them that we value helping others. 

In December 2006, we began "First Thursdays Peace Vigils", which will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month. Everyone from the larger community is invited to participate - please show up during the hour and stay as long or as short as your schedule allows. Candles will be provided.

The Board Of Trustees receives all of the social action mail from the UUA and will keep the congregation apprised of events within our denomination. Sunshine Committee
This circle of friends has been formally reestablished. Members help others in the church family community when they are in need. For example, if someone is sick, we could make meals for them, pick up a few groceries, or just visit; it depends on the situation. Everybody wants to jump in and help and coordinating our efforts works best. If you know of any member or friends of the church in need of Sunshine, please pass the information on to our Sunshine coordinator, Lisette, Rev. Fayre, or someone else in our circle of friends!

Women's Spirituality Group
The Women's Spirituality Group will be leading our May Day/Beltane observance on April 29. The next formal meeting of the group will be at the start of the new church year. Susan Morgaine

Men's Group
The Foxborough Universalist Church Men's Group meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month to socialize and plan community service and church events. The group welcomes new members. Please contact Rick for details.

Junior Youth Group
The "Middler" group of RE students at the Foxborough Universalist Church is for students in grades 6-8. Our goal is to keep the kids interested in what is going on at church and keep them coming. We meet on average twice a month and only on days when the other RE classes are meeting, and not during intergenerational services.

Women's Group
The Foxborough Universalist Church Women's Group meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. the fourth Tursday of every month. The group welcomes new members. Please contact Rev. Fayre or the monthly coordinator for details and meeting location.
