"Because climate change is a truly global, complex problem with economic, social, political and moral ramifications, the solution will require both a globally-coordinated response (such as international policies and agreements between countries, a push to cleaner forms of energy) and local efforts on the city- and regional-level (for example, public transport upgrades, energy efficiency improvements, sustainable city planning, etc.). Ten Minute Heroes are people who are concerned about the climate crisis but have other commitments that keep them busy. With on occasional 10 minutes, at the right time, you can help tackle the climate crisis. You will receive emails with requests for quick action, when your input is critical. A quick call, an email, a word to a friend--that’s all it may take. We'll try not to email you more than once a month—we know you're busy!
